It's been months since my last post. I haven't had anything I really wanted to post about and now I'm thinking about some of my other interests and how the effect my teaching. I recently discovered Pinterest, thanks to my blog reader, Jeanne Morris. I joined when I saw some interesting ideas for my classroom and since then I have discovered that it is a good resource for children with special needs. I have pinned articles which discuss Sensory Integration, Toilet training issues, gross and fine motor activities and many other fun things.  I recommend using the search tool to help filter out irrelevant pins.  One of the surprises was finding other blogs related to these pins. If you have the time to do some searching, I recommend Pinterest as a source for information. I have a few of my pins shown below.
